Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act, 2005) It is an important law enacted to ensure that every citizen of India has access to information held by government institutions and public authorities. Under this law, citizens have the right to request information from all public authorities, including Gram Panchayats. At the Gram Panchayat level, the public can request and obtain information regarding schemes, development activities, taxes, welfare programs, administrative decisions, and other matters under the Right to Information Act. In Aymanam Gram Panchayat, the following officials are responsible for carrying out duties related to the Right to Information Act.
